Thanks for taking an interest in me and Drone Outlook
I’ve enjoyed many professional adventures in my life, gained some unique skills, and have been influenced by some amazing mentors.
I was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army, a professional photographer, and now I embark on my next career journey as an FAA certified remote pilot.
My time in the U.S. Army was a life-changing experience
Everything that I have today I owe to the twelve years I served in the Military.
During my military career, I worked with everything from unmanned aerial vehicles to billion dollar reconnaissance satellites.
Add to that another twenty years in the defense industry, which has given me a deep appreciation for all aspects of remote sensing technology.
Photography has been a personal and professional passion my entire life.
My eclectic photography career has spanned everything from my high school newspaper to being the Director of Photography for a nationwide magazine.
I’ve been an exclusive Getty Images contributor since 2007, and lately I’ve begun to grow my stock portfolio with an renewed interest in aerial photography and video.
I was hooked on drones from my very first flight.
I’ve been a member of the drone community since 2010 when I bought my first drone – the Parrot AR.Drone.
Since then, I’ve owned too many drones to mention.
I have had the opportunity to fly in amazing places, and have met incredible people.
